The program includes:

Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, Chao Phraya boat ride, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Wat Phra Kaew, Grand Palace, Baiyoke Sky; lunch included.

Join an exciting tour of the magnificent capital of the Thai Kingdom with a friendly expert guide. You will visit the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, then take a long-tail boat ride down the Chao Phraya river. Afterward, you will see two of the Bangkok’s most gorgeous temples - Wat Arun (the Temple of Dawn) and Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha). Wat Pho is the capital’s oldest temple, built in the 16th century. The main attraction of Wat Pho is the 46-meter long statue of a Reclining Buddha. The body is covered with gold leaf and the eyes and footsteps are encrusted with mother of pearl. The chapel – or ubosot – houses another statue of Buddha. Here, the ashes of King Rama I are interred in the pediment.

The Grand Palace is in Bangkok’s historical center. One of its temples houses a Golden chedi and another a big bowl with holy water. Thais believe that if you put a lily into the water, sprinkle some over yourself and make a wish, it will come true. The changing of the guard at the Grand Palace is a must-see. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is used for ceremonies and holidays attended by HM the King, and this is the only place in the Palace where photo and video shooting is not allowed.

The tour’s culmination is a visit to the observation deck on the 85th floor of one of the Asia’s tallest high-rise hotels, the Baiyoke Sky. You will also be offered dinner in the restaurant on the 76th floor, which commands awe-inspiring views of the city.
