Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Tourism Authority of Thailand are forming a joint committee to address infrastructure problems from transportation and airports to the quality and availability of public toilets.
The strategic plan focuses on identifying attractions that are losing popularity or require upgrades, improving human resources, and establishing a tourism clinic to advise businesses and entrepreneurs.
