The Tourism Authority of Thailand has rolled out a new campaign aimed at promoting tourism in 55 provinces usually overlooked by travelers. As part of the project, TAT has developed a new Trippointz mobile application, which delivers information on tourist attractions across the Kingdom. With the new app, tourists can accrue points for traveling and exchange them for prizes. The campaign is expected to boost tourism in these provinces by 20%.
