Pattaya Premiere for War Drama Set to Commemorate Victory Day

On Victory Day, the Embassy of Russia to the Kingdom of Thailand invites all-Russian-speaking visitors to a screening of “Sobibor”, a Russian war drama directed by Konstantin Khabenskiy and starring Khabenskiy and Christopher Lambert.

The movie is based on the history of the Sobibór extermination camp uprising during WWII led by Soviet officer Alexander Pechersky. An estimated 250,000 Jews were murdered in the ‘death camp” during the years of war.

Venue: Pattaya, Central Festival, SFX Cinema Pattaya, 6th floor.

Date and time: 9 May, 20:00. Admission is free.
