AirAsia to Introduce New Route from Thailand to Malaysia

AirAsia will inaugurate direct service between Thailand´s Hua Hin and Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on 18 May. The flight will operate four times a week, departing from Kuala Lumpur on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and departing from Hua Hin on the same days at 2:35 p.m., local time. The flight takes around two hours. There is a one-hour time difference between Thailand and Malaysia.

AirAsia Malaysia operates 165 weekly flights to Thailand. Apart from Hua Hin, the airline operates six other routes including Bangkok (80 flights a week), Phuket (35 flights a week), Krabi (21 flights a week), Hat Yai (7 flights a week), Chiang Mai (14 flights a week), and Pattaya (4 flights a week).

In 2017, the airline carried around 1.3 million passengers from Kuala Lumpur to Thailand.
