MahaNakhon Tower is Kingdom’s Top Skyscraper

The 77-storey MahaNakhon Tower, owned by PACE Development, has been named Thailand’s tallest building. Rising 314 m. into Bangkok’s sky, it has beaten the previous record set by Baiyokе II Tower by 10 m.

This luxury property will become home to many upmarket stores and fine dining spots, including the first Morimoto restaurant in Southeast Asia. Morimoto is a Japanese-fusion restaurants run by Masaharu Morimoto of TV’s Iron Chef America.

MahaNakhon will also host a hotel and the Ritz-Carlton Residences condominium.

Completion of the tower will be celebrated with two light shows on 29 August at 7:30 p.m. and 8:25 p.m.
