Flooding on Koh Samui Spares Roads, Tourism Sites

07 December 2016

Heavy rains have caused flooding on some parts of Koh Samui, Thailand's second-largest island, but the airport, major roads and tourist facilities have not been affected.

Authorities say they are taking measures to ensure visitors’ safety and comfort.

Meteorologists say the rain will persist for several more days before the island will see the return of warm and sunny weather.
