Thais Committed to Anti-Aging Tourism

12 September 2017

“Thailand: A Paradise for Longevity” campaign was launched by the Tourism Authority of Thailand during the 4th annual Amazing Thailand Health and Wellness Showcase. The tourism authority regularly promotes the Kingdom as a medical and wellness tourism hub.

Until 31 December, visitors may take advantage of special packages and discounts offered by hospitals and clinics participating in the event. The government is offering 90-day visas to citizens of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, and the People’s Republic of China who come for medical purposes.

Travelers from Japan, Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, Canada and the U.S. enjoy visa extensions for as long as 10 years.

Thailand has 58 JCI-accredited hospitals, and has been named Asia’s major anti-aging hub, with 500 American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine-certified professionals, the largest number in the continent.
