Gourmet Festivals Coming to Phuket

23 February 2018

A series of gourmet food fairs will be held in Phuket Town and Patong. Organized by the Department of Health, the events are aimed at promoting Phuket as a ‘City of Gstronomy,’ a title was conferred upon it by UNESCO in 2015 to honor the island's rich culinary history and unique cuisine.

The first event kicked off at the Thai Hua Museum on Krabi Road in Phuket Town and runs through 23 February. Two more festivals will take place in March: 2 - 4 March in Jungceylon Shopping Mall in Patong, and 24 -26 March on LimeLight Avenue in Phuket Town.

Visitors may sample authentic local dishes, enjoy performances and other amusements.
