Durian and Fruit Fest Sets Three Venues

The annual Thailand Amazing Durian & Fruit Fest fairs will be held in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket, the country’s most popular tourist spots. It will showcase more than 300 varieties of fruit and fruit-based processed products.

Last year, 7,000 tons of 66 domestic fruit from 62 provinces were sold at the festival, with the most popular being bananas, watermelons, other melons, durians, oranges, mangoes, pineapples, papayas, and rambutans.

This year, the event will feature two zones – a buffet zones offering a variety of local foods, and a farmer’s market where visitors may sample durians, lychees, coconut ice cream and more.

The Thailand Amazing Durian & Fruit Fest 2017 will be held:

  • In Bangkok from 24-31 May at the Square A area in front of CentralWorld;
  • In Chiang Mai from 7-13 June in the courtyard at CentralFestival Chiang Mai; and
  • In Phuket from 28 June to 4 July in the courtyard at CentralFestival Phuket.
